Chew Stoke Bowling Club
Short Mat
For those who like to bowl all year round the short mat season begins in October and finishes at the beginning of March. The competition is held in our club house and takes place on Tuesday evenings.
We operate a pairs format, 2 woods each and play 12 ends with much support (and heckling) from the rest of the teams.
As ever with the Chew Stoke club the evening is competitive but light hearted with much banter being enjoyed by all.
And of course the bar will be open.
The Short Mat winners for 2025/26 were John Hudson and Chris Manville.
