Captains Day 2026

Despite the mixed weather there was a good turnout for Captains Day with over 50 members turning up to play or support. The rain didn't dampen our spirits (too much) and after the flag was raised, the spider was bowled at and the club photo was taken bowling got underway.

Due to the uncertain weather the number of ends was reduced to 15 which still gave enough time for some friendly competition and early bragging rights for the victors.

Looking forward to the 2026 season

I know Captain Jamie would like to say it was a close game............but it really wasn't as Captain Ali's team won five out of the six rinks and won overall by 97 shots to 59.

It probably helped that Captain Ali also picked the teams!
