Bristol Indoor rink - Sunday 4 January
Not quite ready for the outdoor season so Chew Stoke took part in the, now traditional, indoor match on the first Sunday of the year at the Bristol Indoor Bowls Club venue.
Not many members of the club play indoors so we never expect much from this fixture other than a friendly game of bowls, some light refreshments and, of course, the raffle.
Although the match went the way expected, the final score, a loss by 7 shots - 100 to 93, was a fairly good result for Chew Stoke.
Everyone's now looking forward to the start of the new season in April.
